Which languages can be transcribed, how accurate automatic captions are, and how to fix a word or its timing.
Which languages can be transcribed?
The language menu shows the languages the app currently supports: 53 of them, from Arabic to Vietnamese, plus Auto detect. The full list, with a page for each, is at captionscut.com/languages. If Auto detect picks the wrong language, choose the language yourself and create the captions again.
How accurate are the captions?
Captions are generated automatically, which is good but not perfect. Names, slang, background music, noise and people talking over each other can all cause mistakes. Always read your captions before you post.
How do I fix a word or its timing?
In the editor, tap the word you want to change. You can correct the text or nudge when it appears. Your changes are saved in the project on your iPhone.
