Yes. Choose English as the spoken language, or leave it on Auto detect, and the English speech in your clip becomes timed, word-by-word captions. This works in the iPhone app and in the web editor.
How accurate are automatic English captions?
Good but not perfect, as with any automatic transcription. Clear speech close to the microphone transcribes best; names, slang, background music and people talking over each other cause mistakes. Every word stays editable, so read the captions before you post.
Can I translate English captions into another language?
